Lansing Sports LLC, doing business as Lurk CFB ("Lurk CFB," "we," "us," or "our"), provides recruiting intelligence software, alerts, reports, integrations, and agent-assisted services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal data when you visit our websites, create an account, use the Lurk CFB platform, communicate with us, or interact with a Lurk CFB agent.
By creating an account, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes our practices; the Terms of Service form the agreement governing your use of Lurk CFB. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular practice, we request that consent separately.
1. Scope and Roles
This Policy applies to Lurk CFB's websites, web application, APIs, reports, alerting systems, connected workspaces, messaging experiences, and software agents. It does not govern third-party websites or services that publish their own privacy notices. When an organization provides access to Lurk CFB, that organization may separately control its workspace, users, instructions, and content. Contact the organization about its own practices.
2. Personal Data We Collect
- Account and identity data: name, email address, authentication identifiers, account role, and login or security records.
- Organization and workspace data: organization name, memberships, invitations, team selections, permissions, connected channels, and administrator settings.
- Contact and notification data: phone number, email preferences, browser push subscription details, alert rules, delivery status, and opt-in or opt-out records.
- User content: prompts, questions, messages, feedback, notes, reports, saved configurations, files or links submitted to the service, and instructions given to agents.
- Agent and integration data: messages, channel identifiers, commands, responses, and related context processed through authorized services such as Slack, messaging platforms, or customer-specific agents.
- Recruiting and public-source data: public social-media profiles and activity, staff affiliations, public recruiting information, public predictions, links, and derived classifications or signals. This information may concern people who are not Lurk CFB users.
- Transaction data: subscription plan, billing status, customer and transaction identifiers, and limited payment metadata. Stripe processes payment-card details; Lurk CFB does not receive complete card numbers.
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, features used, clicks, session and diagnostic events, approximate location derived from IP address, browser, device, operating system, referrer, and timestamps.
- Campaign data: UTM parameters, referring pages, advertising click identifiers, and conversion events when permitted by your choices and applicable law.
- Communications: support requests, demo requests, survey answers, and other communications with us.
3. Sources of Personal Data
We collect data directly from users and organization administrators; automatically from browsers, devices, and use of the service; from connected services a user or organization authorizes; from payment, communications, analytics, and infrastructure providers; and from public sources, licensed datasets, and service providers that collect or organize public information.
4. How We Use Personal Data
- Provide, authenticate, administer, personalize, and support the service.
- Monitor public activity; organize profiles; generate classifications, scores, predictions, alerts, reports, and other recruiting intelligence.
- Operate agents and integrations, maintain authorized context and memory, answer requests, and deliver requested content to connected services.
- Process subscriptions, payments, trials, account approvals, team access, invitations, and customer requests.
- Develop, test, evaluate, secure, and improve Lurk CFB, including its search, classification, recommendation, automation, and agent systems.
- Create aggregated, statistical, and deidentified information and improve our datasets, models, taxonomies, and product features.
- Send service, security, billing, support, and other transactional communications.
- Send product news and marketing email when permitted, and measure advertising after any required consent.
- Detect abuse, investigate incidents, enforce agreements, protect legal rights, and comply with law.
5. Automated and Agent-Assisted Processing
Lurk CFB uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to classify public profiles, summarize information, identify patterns, rank signals, generate reports, answer questions, and perform requested actions. Prompts, authorized workspace context, and relevant records may be sent to model, search, hosting, or agent infrastructure providers acting for us. Automated outputs may be incomplete or wrong and should be independently reviewed. We do not intend the service to make legally significant decisions about employment, education admission, credit, housing, insurance, health care, or eligibility for essential services.
6. How We Disclose Personal Data
We may disclose personal data to the following categories of recipients:
- Vendors and processors that provide hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, artificial intelligence, search, communications, messaging, customer support, security, and similar services.
- Payment and commerce providers, including Stripe, to process subscriptions and prevent fraud.
- Communications providers, including Twilio and Resend, and connected services authorized by a user or organization.
- Analytics and advertising providers, including PostHog, Google, and X, subject to our configuration, your choices, and applicable law.
- Your organization, its administrators, and other authorized workspace users where your account is associated with that organization.
- Professional advisers, transaction counterparties, and successors in connection with diligence, financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
- Authorities and other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, enforce agreements, or protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell personal data for money. We may use limited online identifiers for targeted advertising or measurement only when permitted by your choices and applicable law. You may decline advertising technologies through the cookie notice and may contact us to exercise any applicable opt-out right.
7. Data and Intellectual Property
Privacy rights are governed by applicable law and are not eliminated by describing data as company property. As between Lurk CFB and a customer, ownership and license rights in user content, service data, derived data, reports, agent outputs, product analytics, and feedback are addressed in the Terms of Service. We may use aggregated or deidentified information for any lawful business purpose and will not attempt to reidentify it except to test our deidentification methods or as permitted by law.
8. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Choices
We use necessary browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, and service operation. We ask before enabling analytics cookies, persistent product analytics, advertising tags, or comparable optional technologies. If you accept, we may connect a campaign visit with later signup or subscription activity. If you decline, those optional technologies remain disabled. You can clear site storage to reset the choice and make a new selection on your next visit. Browser privacy controls may provide additional choices.
9. Communications and Marketing
We may send account, security, billing, support, product-operation, and other relationship communications needed to provide Lurk CFB. Promotional email is optional at signup and includes a way to unsubscribe. You may also ask us to stop marketing email at any time. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional communications.
SMS alerts require a separate opt-in at the phone number provided. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to revoke consent, or use another reasonable method. Reply HELP for assistance. See our SMS Consent page.
10. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the service, preserving account and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, maintaining security, and meeting legal or tax obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and context. Deletion requests may not remove information we must retain, information stored temporarily in backups, public-source information, or aggregated or deidentified information that no longer identifies you.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers us, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal data; access and obtain a portable copy; correct inaccuracies; delete certain data; and opt out of targeted advertising, a sale of personal data, or certain profiling. You may exercise a request by emailing info@lurkcfb.com. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision with the subject "Privacy Appeal." We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No safeguard, service, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials, devices, connected accounts, and workspace permissions.
13. Children and United States Use
Lurk CFB is a business and professional service not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children through user accounts. The service is operated from the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you access it elsewhere, you understand that data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the service or law changes. We will post the revised version and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we may provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.
